Getting There

• By Tube to Northwood and then a bus or cab in the direction of the hospital (the pub is about 200 m further on) or take the tube to Rickmansworth - there is a cab rank right outside the station and there is a pay phone in the pub to call a cab for the return trip. The pub has a car park but it is on a sharp lefthand bend on the road from Northwood so you might miss it if you are coming from that direction.  (It is on the main road, the A404, between Northwood and Rickmansworth not far from Mount Vernon Hospital and almost opposite Ye Olde Greene Man, a popular real beer pub made famous by its appearance in an episode of Inspector Morse. An entrance to Moor Park Golf club faces the pub.)
