Getting There
- From OLD STREET (Northern Line).
About 10-15 minutes walk to the East, along Old Street itself -- just
after you go under a railway bridge, turn left and it's around the
corner. 10-15 mins.
- From LIVERPOOL STREET (Central,
Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Circle and mainline trains).
Slightly further away, at 15-20 mins. From the main concourse, go out
the Bishopsgate entrance, on your right as you face the platforms.
Turn left, and walk up Bishopsgate. Keep going straight on, and the
road becomes Shoreditch High Street; when you pass a church on your
right, Brown's is on the corner ahead, and the Spread Eagle is a few
more yards up the road ahead, on your left.
- From METROPOLIS.
Leave Metropolis and go down the street opposite, under the railway
bridge. At the end, Brown's is on the right. Turn right there, and the
Spread Eagle is on the opposite side of the road. About 20 mins walk.
Alternatively, just after the bridge, there's a bus stop on the left.
Any bus from here goes to the end of Hackney Road..
- From BROWN'S. Come out
the door, turn right, walk to the corner, turn right again, and the
Spread Eagle is opposite, occasionally hidden behind scaffolding.
