Getting There
- From
OLD STREET
(Northern Line). Head along Old Street
itself, which runs East from the station. You go under a railway
bridge, and then cross the road, passing Brown's on your left. Ye Olde
Axe is another couple of hundred yards down the road on the left. 20
mins.
- From
LIVERPOOL STREET
(Central, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Circle and mainline
trains). From the main concourse, go out the Bishopsgate entrance, on
your right as you face the platforms. Turn left,and walk up
Bishopsgate. Keep going straight on, and the road becomes Shoreditch
High Street; when you pass a church on
your right, Brown's is on the corner ahead. Turn right, past the
church, and Ye Olde Axe is on the other side of Hackney
Road, about 200 yards down it.

METROPOLIS. Leave
Metropolis and go down the street opposite, under the railway bridge.
Ye Olde Axe is on the right, about 15 mins walk. Alternatively, just
after the bridge, there's a bus stop on the left. Any bus from here
goes past the pub.

BROWN'S.
Leave the pub, turn left. Ye Olde Axe is about 200 yards down the road
on the same side.
